NFL WEEK 2 ML PICKS!

Last week we went 10-6 on the ML picks. There were a few upsets and a few things I should have seen coming. But week 1 is always crazy in the NFL. Week 2 is where we start a hot streak!

Buffalo Bills (1-0) vs Miami Dolphins (1-0)

I fell for the trap in this one. The old school dolphins threads. The narrative that Allen owns the Dolphins. I really thought at home and with all that being said the Dolphins would show up and show out but they froze. The play calling was horrendous. Tua made far too many mistakes and the Dolphins flat out didn’t show. The Bills took this one easy and I was wrong to pick Miami. (Prayers to Tua after that injury🙏🏻)

San Francisco 49ers (1-0) vs Minnesota Vikings (1-0)

The 49ers ability to beat the Jets the way they did without their top offensive weapon in CMC was incredible to watch. I don’t trust Brock Purdy in a big game but against the Vikings at 1pm I do. I think this game will be a lot closer than most people think. I see the Vikings keeping this close for most of the game and the 49ers pulling away late.

New Orleans Saints (1-0) vs Dallas Cowboys (1-0)

This game should be fun to watch. My initial gut instinct is to take the Cowboys in a runaway at home. But I remember last year when they lost to the Cardinals at home in a crazy upset which gives me pause. I like both offenses. I think the over is a lock. I’ll take the Cowboys but I think in a close game. I’m also betting CeeDee Lamb over 70+ yards.

Seattle Seahawks (1-0) vs New England Patriots (1-0)

I have no idea what’s going to happen in this game. The Seahawks beat a bad Broncos team on the road and the Patriots beat a Bengals team on the road that didn’t show up. My gut says to take the Patriots at home because that crowd is going to be crazy at the idea of going 2-0. I believe the Seahawks have better weapons but like last week I think the Patriots make less mistakes and get the win in my upset pick of the week!

New York Giants (0-1) vs Washington Commanders (0-1)

Both of these teams played bad week 1. But the Giants got crushed at home. This is the definition of a trap game. Everything inside me says to take the Giants to bounce back. But Daniel Jones sucks so much I just can’t. I think the Commanders at home make enough plays and run the ball well enough to get the win. Give me a Robinson jr TD on top too!

Los Angeles Chargers (1-0) vs Carolina Panthers (0-1)

The Chargers don’t impress me much on either side of the ball. But their coach is solid and they seem to believe in him. The Panthers on the other hand don’t have much to belive in. I don’t think them being at home gives them any advantage. I’ll take the Chargers to beat them fairly easily in this one.

Indianapolis Colts (0-1) vs Green Bay Packers (0-1)

The Packers at home are usually the play here but I don’t love what happens to Jordan last week. I think Love elevated that offense to be better than they are. Jacob’s will be fed and most likely get in the endzone but I think the Colts have the better weapons on both sides of the ball. Malik Willis can’t throw and running the ball will only get you so far. Give me the Colts by more than a TD.

Cleveland Browns (0-1) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1)

The Jaguars should have beat the Dolphins last week but made a few mistakes and took the foot off the gas. The Browns however never had a lead and were thoroughly dominated at home which I didn’t see coming. Watson looks like a bust. Not much of what they are doing is working. I just feel the Jaguars at home get the win here. It will be low scoring and gritty but in the end the Jaguars make more plays and get the win.

New York Jets (0-1) vs Tennessee Titans (0-1)

This matchup is interesting. The Titans had the Bears dead to rights and Will Levis literally threw them the game. The Jets got overmatched by the 49ers but most teams would. I think the Jets bounce back in this one. Rodgers will have a tough time with the Titans defense but in the end will make enough plays to win.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) vs Detroit Lions (1-0)

This is the game of the week. It could honestly go either way. Baker is cooking with Evans. I love what the Buccaneers are doing. The Lions running game is no joke. I’m slightly concerned  about Laporta and Saint Brown. They didn’t look their best last week. Goff hasn’t look d incredible either. I’m slowly talking myself into taking the Buccaneers. lol But in the end at home I think the Lions make one more play at the end to win. Spread wise take the Bucs all day though!

las Vegas Raiders (0-1) vs Baltimore Ravens (1-0)

The Raiders have so many weapons and can’t seem to get it together. The Ravens are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs last week and I feel will come out hot at home. I think this is an easy ML pick for the Ravens but spread wise if peak at the Raiders 👀

Los Angeles Rams (0-1) vs Arizona Cardinals (0-1)

Both of these teams can score so I will be POUNDING the over. In the end this pick is easy for the mere fact of who’s coaching. If Mcvay can’t beat the Cardinals there’s a real problem with the Rams. I know Pukka is out and they are traveling and it’s a division game. But tell that to Buffalo who did the same thing and dominated. The Rams are the better team and I expect them to get this win.

Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) vs The Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)

This game hurts my soul. The Bengals under Zac Taylor will always start slow. They were embarrassingly bad last week against the Patriots. The thing is the Bengals are built to beat the Chiefs. The defense is built to keep Mahomes in the pocket get pressure and cover. Problem is it’s just hard to trust the Bengals at this point. The Chiefs always find a way to win and the Bengals unfortunately find new ways to lose. I think this game will be close. I pray the Bengals find a way to win. But I can’t pick them over the Chiefs with what I have seen so far.

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) vs Denver Broncos (0-1)

The Steelers defense showed up against the Falcons. They did exactly what I thought they would do. The Broncos defense is their only chance in this game. Make Fields make mistakes. That’s the game plan. Stop the run and force him to pass. Problem is Bo Nix can’t handle the Steelers defense and because of that I’ll take the road team.

Chicago Bears (1-0) vs Houston Texans (1-0)

A lot of people see this game being close but I don’t understand why. The Bears defense is solid for sure but their offense is equally terrible. The Texans look solid on both sides of the ball and I don’t see how the Bears on the road take down the Texans. The Texans have too many weapons and will score.

Atlanta Falcons (0-1) vs Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)

Both of these teams are going to score so POUND THAT OVER! The Falcons offense looked terrible but against one of the best defenses in the league. The Eagles defense is all zone and flat out bad. The Falcons will bounce back and make this a close game. Do they win?? I’m not ready to say that just yet. I think The Eagles offense scores a ton and the Falcons keep up for a while but burn out in the end.
