This week in the world of sports!

I saw a few things in the sports world this week that I feel like should be talked about.

Heres the scoop!

#1 THE NHL IS BACK!

I'm not going to bore you with the details. All you need to know for the upcoming playoff format is in the video above. I don't know about you guys but I NEED playoff hockey back in my life. Thank god it looks like it's back soon. For those who don't know most of the year I'm known as Patrick Kearns. But during hockey season I'm known as "The Big Scary Man Guy" I basically dress as a viking and demand the Boston Bruins win any game I attend. I've been doing this for over a decade and have been lucky enough to be embraced by the boston fans. I've been on NBC, NHL Live, BarstoolSports, 98.5 the sports hub and much more. Wana see The Big Scary Man Guy in action??

#2 Melvin Gordon gives 0 fucks.

This man said I don't have to imagine not playing in front of fans this upcoming year because I played for the Chargers last year! DAMN MELVIN why you gotta do them like that LOL Then he doubles down on it after all the heat he got from the comments. "I'm sorry there were 2 fans there." I'm a Melvin Gordon fan for life now. This had me rolling!

#3 Anderson Silva calls out Conor McGregor!

It seemed the only way a fight between Conor and Silva would happen is if you played it on a UFC video game. That changed this week!

So it starts out with Silva posting a challenge which has since been taken down...

Silva also went on a few shows saying he would love the opportunity to fight Conor. Didn't take long for McGregor to respond.

I personally think this is foolish on Conors part. Yes Anderson is 45 years old and he is 1-6 in his last 7 fights. But your'e going to stand with him if you fight him and anything can happen man. I think Conor is just looking to add a big name to his resume here. Only problem is If Mystic Mac gets caught he is all done. Theres no shame in losing to the best out there but to lose to an old Silva would be devastating to McGregor's career. We will see what comes to fruition.

#4 NBA could be returning July 31st??

This tells you most of what you need to know. I wouldn't mind seeing some basketball in august! Bring back all the sports!!!!

#5 Deandre Hopkins is almost as savage as Melvin Gordon!

I can't hate on what the guy is saying here. Lot's of people are bashing him saying he's making excuses but I don't see it that way. Look at the mans numbers and more importantly the body of work he's put out. He didn't drop a pass in 2018. His routes are second to none in the league. I'd say Julio Jones has been at the top of the WR food chain for a while now. He has 2 more seasons then Hopkins and only 3 more td's... I think Hopkins has a point and I think he is the best in the business right now. DONT @ ME!
